New camera!
So today pickedup a Nikon D40, decided to take a few pics before the sale (craigslist) was complete. i also took some shots of my moms yorki's.
im new to this photo thing so any sugestions would be great, keep in mind i dont know anything about photo "lingo"<------ i think i spelt that wrong!
The rest are of my moms dog's.

mike i paid 375 for camera body, 18-55mm lens (standard lens), all books and warranty information, box and an 2g highspeed SD memory card. and it's only a month old the guy purchased it on 8/8/08, the camera only had 50 shudder clicks on it.
i spoke wit a guy who i offered the same amount in spalding county, that has the camera body, 18-55mm lens, and book and box. just check craigs list they're a bunch on there!
375? Are Nikon's cheaper than Canon? Im a Canon fan but they are still 500+

It all depends on the seller, i was able to find people that were looking to sell fast cuz they had up graded. there are quite a few on there that are for 500+ w/ different lenses, or other equiptment. but most are around $425 range.
