Default So the Buick is injured as of today...

Someone in front of the wife started to go on a green light change and my wife went to go as well when the driver in front slammed on the brakes. My wife didn't have to slam hers on because she wasn't that close. But the guy behind her admitted to looking down at the time and he ran into the rear. Fully accelerating. Over the phone it sounded much worse than it really is. The children were in the backseat, but luckily, they were unharmed. It looks to be just the bumper cover and trunk lid. But I'm going to have an frame check and all done to it to make sure. Anywell, here's the pics. Later, QD.

dammmnn glad to hear she and the kids are ok.

and id say you've got a lot more damage than jsut the trunk and bumper.. the quarters are probably pulled in, and im sure you'll need a new rear body panel and the trunk floor is probably messed up too.
bring it by absolute autobody on 124... we'll check it out.

looking at the pics again... look at that 2nd picture. it looks like the door gap to the quarter doesnt really exist anymore. how to both rear doors open? are they still smooth?

Didn't notice that. As far as I remember, it did. I'll definitely bring it by. I know I'll need a couple of quotes for the insurance. Later, QD.

Glad everyone was ok. That's all that really matters in the grand scheme of things.

    But you already knew that.

In the second pic you can see the quarter is pushed foward and look around the fuel door, its wrinkled slightly.

glad your wife and kids are ok. you only have to have one estimate by law. insurance company's try to tell you where to get your car fixed because of the cheaper of the so called three estimate's they say you have to have. take your car to the place you trust will do the best job.
