Default Check out my work and let me know what you think

I have been shooting 8 months, and my rig is a Canon Rebel XT. Hoping to step up to something bigger once I learn a few more things with this camera. Insight and criticism are greatly appreciated.

Here is a small sample of my work so far. Thx for looking.

That is some impressive work. I especially like the outside porch shots, they look surreal. What kind of PP is involved?

How did you setup your lighting on those porch shots then? I really am fond of how those came out. Any tips would be appreciated!

honestly, I dont think you took these pics. They all have different logo's on them. If I find these pictures to belong to some1 else, there will be consequences.

actually, except for the chick in the lawn chair, they all say either RoRo or rolando, which i'm guessing is what RoRo stands for...

    people change logos sometimes.

The EXIF data in the photos all say they were shot with a Canon EOS Rebel XT, and thats his camera.

Nice pics, but I agree with Anthony on the skepticism... If they are all your shots, then they're pretty nice work... but between different logos and very different techniques being used... I'm skeptical.

And some of those have had pretty intensive p-shoppage done... more than just a "dodge and burn" that a beginner could do...

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

LOL very funny that I would make a thread acting like these were my photos ROFL.

Anyway my modelmayhem account is www.modelmayhem.com/roro I originally put RoRo on all my stuff because I wanted to tag it. Then my friend made the round logo and I used it for a while. Then I decided to use cursive Rolando Worthington because I didnt want some big round tag on my photo's. Neway here is some proof I guess lol. first picture is the one I took of the girl, the next is me and her sitting on the couch. Click on my myspace page look and see I am the same person and the girl is on my top friendlist and she even left comments. But I did ask for criticism so its all good if people hate. Atleast some people like my stuff.

lol, then you know nothing about photography or camera's. A 6MP camera will take the EXACT same photograph as a 12MP when you're only showing web sized shots. Not until you get into poster sized prints does the megapixels even matter. A photos quality solely depends on the lens and a photographer familiar with adjusting setting on the camera.

You don't need to show proof. I have photo's labeled speedminded.com, AP Photography, vintagetuning.com, Paragon Photography & paragondigitalart.com, JTB, etc. etc. etc. Not to mention I know half the people in your photos.

There's veryyy little photoshop work on them, the one shot with the most looks like the curve was adjusted too much leaving burn spots in it. Most of these shots are a timeline from when he began shooting until recent anyways, nobody automatically develops a style or technique, especially when working along side different photographers.

I just get lucky with the camera sometimes You've come a long ways, just don't tell biggie I think your style surpasses him I was looking for your old T-Bird shots with the chick, guessing it was the one from your dad's house out in the woods

I'm in between jobs right now so everything is temporarily on hold: turbo project car, new lenses, etc...debating on trading my 300mm f/4.0L IS lens for a 24-70 f/2.8L because i've been anxious to get into modeling for the last couple months plus it also makes a killer lens for car too.

yeah. I was looking at biggies pics one day and was like " I wish I had a lens to take pics like that" and he said he took them with the same lens. So I just been trying to get all I can out of this lens before I move on to the next. I dont have the steadiest hand though but im working on that, IS would help a ton.

I can never get the kit lens to look as good as my 50mm f/1.8...same settings, same lighting, etc. and you can't even begin to compare the lighting and sharpness between the two.
