Default A few photos from Paris

I took well over 1,000 pics on my last trip to Paris and decided to share a few of my favorites. I had a lot of cloudy days and even some rain so the light was not fabulous the whole time. A few of the days were just amazing though.

I also took quite a few pics of cars that we don't have over here but I'll save those for another thread. Didn't see too many supercars, just a few Ferrari's and an R8 but I've seen a few of those before. Still nice to see beautiful cars in such a nice setting.

Anyway, on to the pics of a the lovely city of Paris. I have a few hundred more my photo site, I'll share that with other photographers on here if they are Flickr members, but I prefer not to post my link directly on IA. They look better larger but I didn't want to make the thread a pain to look at

"The French are a smallish, monkey-looking bunch and not dressed any
better, on average, than the citizens of Baltimore. True, you can sit
outside in Paris and drink little cups of coffee, but why this is more
stylish than sitting inside and drinking large glasses of whisky I don't
    know." --P.J O'Rourke (1989).

"You know, the French remind me a little bit of an aging actress of the

"Do you know how many Frenchmen it takes to defend Paris? It's not known, it's never been tried." --Rep. Roy Blount (MO)

"Do you know it only took Germany three days to conquer France in WWII? And that's because it was raining." --John Xereas, Manager, DC Improv.

I have full size of all of them. Just made them tiny for a screen-friendly thread.

I have a few options of the Eiffel Tower at night

Click on original to get the really big ones

I wish i had a tripod up there with me when I took those though. It was really windy.

Amazing pictures. I hope you're enjoying your time over there!

Paris had an effect on me like no other place I've ever been to. I've spent all of 10 days there and they may have been the best of my life. I wanna live there someday. It's just a damned magical city.

ill be there, as every year in July..

Every year, I so excited to go back to my country.. But U.S. is my home, and after one month of being there, all I want to do is come home..

Love that place, but in small doses because of the weather, the life, the people, etc...
