And its on steelies now, took the rotas off. didnt wanna wear the tires down for no reason.

I have made no motor mods, know im not fast, the seat is for autox and spirited driving, i found that the stock isnt as supportive as id like, the only other mods i have are a d2 coilover setup energy suspension bushing kit(all of em), progress rear sway, skunk2 camber arms, and rota subzeros that arent on.
THe hood is stupid, ill admit, but thats a bad choice it was supposed to be CF, but i got orders to japan so i said fvck that.

so as per the rice comment, my car is stock except for things that have a specific function, no bodykits, no wings, no chrome nothing. Rice i think not...wel maybe the hood, but i dont liek it anyways

8k including car, paint, stereo, rims, tires, maintenance to get it right, parts i had to get from junkyards(door handles windshield cowl etc.)
not just mods. It was everythign start to finish that i spent. I think i did rather well when my entire goal was to handle well.

on and hte tsispyder comment, im working on another one, im going to buy the shell before i leave for japan, and build it when i come home on leave.

So how much did the car cost like 5 ? because the rest I cant see it.. well you do have d2 suspension.. so what between 700 to 900 for that so that lives you with about 2 k... Yeah, i can see it ... you pay what you get for.

around 800 for fiberglass box, center console
350 autoloc door shave kit
around 500 in labor on the shaving and stuff
free paint job for 2 7 inch tvs
120 energy suspension bushing kit
a huge amount of supplies
tune up and itming belt stuff
time to pay for hobby shop usage
brake pads and rotors (oem)-200
had to get a new amp, old one blew-350
i can go on and on. But in all reality i think i ended up decently. I ended up with about 100 in maintenance, alignments, supplies and stuff. the rest went to eerythign else.

Do they allow you to autocross with shave handles? Im not sure, dont know much about autocross.

And let me see if I have this right, you have new wheels and tires but you would rather drive around in steelies so you dont waste the rubber? It's not a show car, so your not concerned about messing up a wheel and its a stock motor in a Del Sol.....maybe selling the $400 wheels and buying a huge wing and body kit would be a better fit with the door popers and "speed streaked" hood.

the shaving was done, becuase i didnt know where i was going with the car in the long run. so i went ahead and did it. but the solenoids we had on hadn at the shop werent strong enough so i had to spend more money blah blah

And yes the paint sucks ass. i was slightly pissed, but the origional paint job was MUCH worse. i could literally peel it off, the previous owner tried to do it himself.
Basically, the car was meant to be autoX. That was the origional plan, it still will be hopefully soon up in ATL. I just have to get a damn weekend off, i have had to work weekend duty for the past few. i was plannign on putting in a b16a2, or Ls engine into it and putting intake header on it and being done with it.
I had long term plans, but now that im going ot japan, its not really worth it. Ill start another car over there along with finishiing my 4g63 build for a spyder.

However i will admit my first car was deff rice, a 95 integra LS. i learned after that one though.

its just not my thing, I like clean kits that are functional liek cwest adn stuff. But im not a fan of shitty fitting cheap blitz kits nad stuff. Its clean resembles stock bodylines and stuff, I liek it. But thats few and far between. The stillen front end on DSMs is an example.

Yeah see, that look 90% stock with an aggressive lip kit added, an SI wing (right?) and stock tailights. its clean, im not a fan of the headlights. But thats just me. Certain body kits i can deal with, yours isnt really a kit as much as looking liek accentuation.

I would think that you need to take a step back and think about what rice really is. If putting body kits, and wings on a car is rice then I guess you would have to say the most country hick running in the Nextel Cup series (NASCAR) is rice? They have body kits and wings, yet are full blown 700whp stock cars.

After looking at your pictures and reading about how you are not going to change your car, it makes me laugh.

Since your basically calling 90% of the cars own'd by IA members rice, including mine (Veilside body kit/Nismo wing). I'm going to just kick back in my chair and think about the Del Sol I should have bought and left stock..... Man, why did I make a mistake buying that riced Z.
