    Ok so i'm bout to download phtotshop, my os is windows xp hhome edition . i will be a first time user to it , so shich one would guys/girls perfer me get . i need an easy user interface and one that comes with tuturials if available.

    Photoshop is a trademark name, there is only one. The latest version is CS3 however.

    I have CS, CS2, and CS3. CS3 is by far the best.

    im aware its a trademark name i was wondering which version would be the best for a begginer

    To me, the difficulty level didn't change. They just added more features and integrated ImageReady into CS3.

    CS3 is amazing, even compared to CS2.

    exactly, it's all the same...just additional features in the pulldown menus and toolbars.

    Takes 1 GB I think, free if you only know where to download it....retail is around $700 or so.

    The version I have is listed at $999 on Adobe.

    ah yeah, CS3 Extended is $999 - regular CS3 for $649.
