to me its kinda fucked up what they're doing to buckhead. building new stores and condos? come on, when out of town folk come to GA they always wanna hit up buckhead, cause of its old school bars and clubs. thats what buckhead is about.

yeah, its wierd just walking around and being able to hear a pin drop on the ground. kinda of eerie actually..as i walked past each venue, i kept thinking back my 1st time in this area and my first experiences in some of these places...i def. recommend taking a walk thru here one night before it becomes one big hole blocked off till this "new face of buckhead" is built..its a nice trip down memory laneOriginally Posted by xPhantomSolx

ive known about this for a very long time. back when i used to work at Chops, the new owner of buckhead(some daddy's boy) went to aeat with his family therer. after that i heard from the gm about his plan about making a new buckhead.. don't know exactly what his plan is... but hopefully it doesn't ruin this part of GA. i was looking forward to hitting up those clubs once i turned 21, so many hot white girls be going up in there....now im not gonna be able too. ftl...

hrmm...nasty ass dirty nightclubs filling the streets of drunk customers with most of the profit under the table or highly profitible high rises with high end businesses, offices, and living areas? Lets think about this one...
If you've ever worked in Buckhead you know how nasty it is, especially during the day. Then all the crap that has to be cleaned up after a night or weekend of parties...16 cameras on my old offices parking deck and you'd be amazed at all the things you see, haha!

It's simple why big businesses are coming in and making it a higher class area.
higher class= more money, expensive condos...kind of like a domino effect and brings a higher clientele(sp) to the area.
i've really never been to buckhead, except when i was younger... i rode through it once...
but i'm not a big partier or club hopper so... never had a reason to.

you know whats funny about your statement Jason, if u look thru the windows( i'll post those up later) u can still see trash, dried vomit,beer bottles and other nonsense scattered EVERYWHERE.. i guess, since they knew it was gonna become rubble anyway, might as well go out with a bang.whats the point of cleaning it up
yep, they left everything inside just the way it was the last night each club was open...it's kinda surreal and almost eerie. There's so much stuff there too, most of the building is old wood trusses but some are steel...i know all of it is going to be bulldozed with probably nothing salvaged. I could design and build an insane place just using the salvaged scrap! The club on the end (Babylon maybe?) is basically BRAND new. Watched them everyday working on it...i didn't have a camera then but them welding & grinding all the steel on the inside would have made for perfect pics, oh well!
