    I ended up with a bad cut on my arm thats about it...it happened about 8 months ago...i got really lucky....but i cant say the same for my laptop which was in my passenger seat..

    i feel ya man, i fell asleep at the wheel about 8 years ago....and i understand what you mean by not being tired, i wasnt either, i had gotten up at 6 that morning, went and pressure washed an engine bay out on a truck at work, left there around 9, took a friend about 40 miles home and nodded right before a curve, went straight into a road that T'd into the curve, took the road airborned and hit a telephone pole head on, in mid air, according to a witness coming the opposite direction, at around 60, i woke up in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, luckily i was in a 84 regal, that car was solid, it was stuck in drive, but would still start, traded the motor/tranny for a paint job a year later

    actually, i think it was a pretty smart move on their part... falling asleep at the wheel can happen to anybody, its not like you go out, have a few beers, THEN decide to drive... granted, 90 might've been a little fast, but hey shit happens. hell, if i had a kid, and a bmw kept him/her alive after an impact like that... guess what i'd be damn sure to get for their next car (assuming i buy them another one)??? the same damn type of car. apparently, bmw is a very safe automobile, and honestly, its not a speed demon. hell you can do 90 in just about anything these days...
