    Default Pictures I took yesterday

I took two pictures of dripping water...well it was more like 100 but these two are the only ones i got the water in. Both were done with the same feature on my Sony 7.2 Megapixel slim digi point-n-shoot. I doubt they were anywhere near 7 megapixels because I keep it a 3 tops to save space sometime.

The feature is calle "magnefying glass"

I don't understand how in one the foreground is blurry and the background is somewhat clear and the other the foreground is clear and visa-versa.

    here are the pics.

leave some feedback and let me know how they are and how i can improve.

the camera was focused on the water on one of them, on the background on the other.

I like that effect...sharp subject and blurred out background.

    Something to do with F-Stop...?

I forgot what little I learned about photography.

Nice pictures though...I like the one on the left.

the camera focused on the faucet on the first, which is at the same level of the water.. you had more faucet in the picture, and the second one focused further..

Cool photos. Only thing that took away from the first one is the flash on the faucet. That shits hella bright.

as stated before, the focus issue was one of proximity. as you get really close to a subject, the camera naturally tries to shoot the LARGER target area. In the first pic, the largest focal point was the faucet and water. In the second, the primary point of focus was the largest one before it... in this case, it was the wall in the background.

Here are some shots where I tried to manipulate focal points with my cam.

Here is a group of bottles... with my focal point on the kettle one bottle.

Here is one of the same group of bottles, but this time, my focal point was the Jim Beam bottle... not the other bottles and not the wall in the background.

And here is a water droplet photo... similar to the one that you did.

Some cameras have settings that allow you to tell it to focus on the item in the very center of the view. that will allow you to literally point at the item of interest and nearly ignore the rest.

Hope this helped... in some way. haha.

    for you!!
