I see uproot and AP Photog and NDM with watermarks on their pics, and I was wondering how to make one of my own, like one I can drag and drop and not have to make another layer to use. I don't use Photoshop, so nothing specific to it, please.

You're going to have to use a program that will allow you to work with layers one way or another. You have to put the words, or logo, or whatever you want on top of the image, and then drop down the opacity of that logo, or words, or whatever until it's see-thru.
It is possible to do it without layers but, using layers definitely makes it much easier. If you don't want to keep the layer that the water mark is on, you can always flatten the image when you are done.
im a noob at photoshop.. im going to go to borders or something and get me a book on photoshop with everything you need to know.. hopefully it will help me.
