ah, 203 lbs?!!! It's a jaguar then...leopards only get 180lbs max....FYI both black jaguars and black leopards are called "black panthers" so the title is correct :goodjob:

very interesting. all the deer culling I have ever heard of was DNR with rifles at night. I guess it would be effective if there wasnt a large human population in the area.

That's the usual way, they did it in Oakwood a few weeks ago around Gainesville College...feed them then shoot them. I can't imagine them using a jaguar to control deer unless like you said it just being a rural area...what if it ever found something to mate with :tongue:

I would like to know when they started puting alligators in the Tennessee river??

My uncle lives in south ga and he has panthers on his property.

Theres more big cats out there than people think. There have been plenty of sightings here in upstate SC, and a lot of farmers around my hometown had found their cattle clawed and ripped to pieces.
