    Unhappy Kidney Stones

SOOOO I have Kidney stones and sometimes the pain is unbearable especially at night. They gave me pain meds to take at night, but yeah not really doing the job. Has anyone ever had them or has any advice?

I've had them twice, they are horrible.

Just drink as much water as you can until you get sick and piss nonstop

condition seems to be a trend of the older members of my family. my mom has had them twice and now drinks water by the gallons. the second time she required surgery. my uncle, grandmother and an aunt have all had them as well.

since they only gave you pain killers, I guess they are expecting you to pass them out naturally. drink plenty fluids and good luck.

a beer will help. no joke. drink a beer before you sleep. also, the yeast helps them pass with greater ease. not sure why, but thats what the hospital keeps telling me and it keeps working.

I remember watching TLC a while back and there is a method of breaking them up through sonic pulses. No side effects or anything. Have you asked your doctor about this?
