    Default I also Need Help connecting to a network with my computer...

    well i have a recently built computer with a new hard drive running win2k .... and when i connect it to the network, it will show that it is connected and show the connection speed... but it wont send or recieve any information

    so, it wont access the internet or anything on the network at all....

    anybody know what i can do??

    well 3 other computers in the house can connect just fine... im just having trouble with mine. my computer will show its connected, but no packets are being sent or received.

    I encounter that issue I restart my connection...but I have FastAccess...and it resolves the issue.

    Im sure you have done this but its worth a shot.
    Shut down all computers on the network,
    Power down the Modem & Router/Hub,
    Wait a good 30 seconds...
    Boot up in this order. Modem, Router, Computer.
