    Default R/C?

I have been looking into getting a new hobby.. I am getting out of the car scene, buying a jeep, getting married, building a house, but then I need my toys, lol...

So, I want to get into r/c truck racing... I have been looking at the hpi line of trucks trying to decide what I want... I have also been doing lots of research on r/c forums and decide that I want to race dirt track trucks.... I think... lol...

Anyways, I wanted to hear what ia peeps did and what your set ups are? What kind of engines, fuel, cars/trucks, controllers, etc you are using... As well as what kind of racing and where?

PLEASE DON'T TRY TO SELL ME YOUR STUFF IN THIS THREAD, LOL... I AM GETTING INTO THIS BUT I AM BUYING MY STUFF NEW JUST BECAUSE I CAN AND I WANT TOO.... LOL.

I have a team associated touring car. Its tons of fun. I'm going to get drift tires for it tomorrow and have some fun . I'm sure the dirt track trucks would be tons of fun. I've watched some videos on google of it and it looks awesome... My buddy has an HPI car and it's pretty good so i'm pretty sure you'd be pleased getting the HPI truck for teh money you spend...

Heh, i found it funny that a new clutch that i bought today was $7.25 .

So much more wallet friendly than real cars .

i have both hpi savage and rs4 and the car is great when you have friends with cars too, but the truck is the shit with or with out someone else. and as far as money goes b16 swap $2000.00 vs 4.6 big block for your r/c truck $200.00.
