Default good place for vacation close to ATL ?

My GF and me are having hard time finding a good place to go to vacation for like 2 - 3 days near Atlanta. Where could we go ? I consider no more than 2 - 3 hours driving ..

    hey thanks for the links

and all the other replies ..

Destin is prety cool, we went there a month ago, it was very good.
Hallen - it's prety small, not sure what we could do there
    Chattanooga - we've never been there .. don't know
Hilton Head - my GF wants to go there, but I think it's too far away for now
Blue Ridge Mnt - we don't know that place.

other opinions will be very appreciated
