Default lWhy are Isrealites hated so badly...

I haven't really learned the history on this and was wondering if someone could fill me in on it. Thanks. Some people think that Isreal shouldn't even exist and that they are like the bastards of the world. Later, QD.

becaue the US supports them so much- i think that technically if war is officially declared we are obligated to help them. plus they get all of our cool military leftovers if i remember correctly.

or i could be completely wrong.

Someone has to ride bitch and the Jews were delt a bad hand.

Muslims and Christians were also promised the 'holy land' by God and Muhammad, so you have Muslim extremists trying to get their hands on it all the time.

Off topic: My opinion on this new warfare is that Israel is picking another fight and they're conducting borderline terrorism in their combative tactics. I don't agree w/ Israel being a bully soley b/c Germany is thinking about FIGHTING JEWS AGAIN. That's hilarious! Neo Nazis 2006! Anyways, if Germany gets involved, Israel will seek our aid and we will start WWIII. End of the world = NUKE NUKE NUKE!

I'm not sure who was there first, but the land Israel sits on has switched hands between the Palestinians, Israelites(Jews), and Christians(The Crusades) since forever. The Palesitinians feel that Israel is squatting on their land and they want it back. I guess the hatred comes from thousands of years of bloodshed between the 2 factions. Islamic extremists hate us for supporting Israel.

Question for OverMind: I wasn't aware that Germany had any part in Hezbollah and Hamas's unprovoked kidnapping of Israeli soldiers. I'll have to check on that. It's common knowledge that Iran and Syria are supplying both factions so if we moved against anyone it'd be them. Israel is following the rules of conventional warfare(Leaflettes n shit). Besides, I'd hoped the lebanese civilians were smart enough to get out of mine fields. Their neighborhoods turned into mine fields when hezbollah started firing rockets over the border. This shit probably wouldn't be happening if the UN "Observer Force" placed in the region after Israel agreed to pull out had been doing it's job.

Jews have been hated for more than a hundred years. I thought the biggest reason why Jews were hated by muslims, is that after WWII the Jews were given the holy land that belonged to the palestinians at the time. Then every muslim country decided that was muslim holy land and that it belonged to palestinians. I believe it was a war in the 80's between Jews and the muslim countries like Egypt, Saudia araba and maybe two other muslim country. israel proved victories in this war and having been fighting ever since to keep there right to exist in that region. Im prolly wrong

I'm sure Germany wasn't involved in the kidnappings.

Israel acted too fast on a thin line of information that wasn't processed long enough to determine who did what, when, where, how. Israel is leaving all kinds of aftermath in their wake. Fucking up regular citizens and such.

I wish the US had another post in the middle east to rely on other that Israel. Israel knows they can do w/e they want whenever they want and it's gone too far.

Germany is thinking about engaging the Israelis because of all this, which I understand. Germany just couldn't take Israel if all of their lives depended on it. I hope they're overruled on entering the middle east because that is the absolute start of WWIII and it'll be the third time we have to take Germany out.

Difference this time is that Germany has only had a military force that could legally engage anyone for 12 years...They'd have to have something or someone up their sleeve to pull any of it off.

I hate how a few kidnappings cause the loss of thousands of lives. Maybe even millions eventually. Maybe we'll see the United States of Earth before this is over with.

Most of you posting in this thread have no idea wtf your talking about. Especially Echo419, you post some of the stupidest shit I ever heard.

Ask yourself a question, and anyone that has any sense can figure it out.

The Middle East is a complete Islamic Nation. There is one small country there that is full of Jews. Why? Do you think they won anything to have that nation? Did someone give the Jews that land? Its pretty easy to figure it out.

If you really want to know the truth, you have to ask someone that has lived in the middle east and has generations of family that live there than can tell you the real reason.

There is a lot of religious reason that Jews are hated so much. A lot has to do with them doing Prophet Jesus wrong and Prophet Muhammad wrong.

I personally have no hatred for Jews or any other religions. I respect everyone for what kind of person they are.

^^ you also have to keep in mind - for a loooong time, Israel never existed again till AFTER World War 2 - the US more or less stated its boundaries, and declared it a country once again etc etc

US stating that Israel existed after WWII is like saying that now the Native Amerian Nation exists and residents of FLA (seminoles) and GA (creek and cherokee) mainly i belive get to take over the land back. gonna be lots of fighting i think that made sense.

Hezbollah crossed sovereign borders unprovoked, killed 8 Israeli soldiers and kidnapped 2, took them back into Lebanon and began firing missles into Israeli cities trying to kill civilians. Hezbollah proudly admitted to it. If that isn't an act of war I don't know what is. Hezbollah disguises themselves as civilians and blends into the Lebanese populous willingly putting civilians in danger. Israel has been warning civilians of the impending bombing runs and the Lebanese government has made no efforts to evacuate civilians from southern Lebanon. A Canadian UN official who was stationed near the observer post where those 4 UN workers were killed reported that Hezbollah was firing rockets less than 10 feet from them. Sure Lebanese civilians are being killed, but whose fault is it? The country defending itself from an ongoing terrorist attack or the Hezbollah militant standing next to them with a rocket launcher? The building that collapse in Lebanon yesterday, killing 56 civilians, came down 8 hours after the Israeli's bombed it. They have footage of rocket fire coming from directly next to the structure. If someone is firing rockets from my doorstep I'm going to leave. Why don't they?

Well considering how the fledgling UN stepped in after WWII to create a country for the persecuted Jews all the while forgetting all of the Turks, Gypsies, Serbs, and other ethnic races also included in Hitler's genocide, there's more than just the middle east that hates Israel. The US was one of the largest supporters in the creation of Israel and has continued to support them through the various crises with its neighboring countries since WWII. Does anybody remember the 6 Day War?

Israel does have the complete support of the United States but their actions are largely looked down on by the UN. These wars nowadays are completely different than any kind of past military engagements since you have combatants that are not affiliated with any country that do not follow the Geneva conventions.

Although there are many complex issues, the "trouble" in the middle east has more to do with disobedience to God (and his Prophets) then anything else. "Hatred" of jews is a carryover of that in many ways. This is over simplified but...The Children of Israel did not explictly follow the instructions of God and have suffered ever since. From Abrahams disbelief of Gods promise to deliver to him a son/decendants and taking matters into his own hands with Sarahs servant Hagar and on from there.

Some comments are made with reference to Islamic peoples as being the "perpetrator" and indeed some are in some cases...but in non politically correct truth, the jewish people are not without their terrorist behaviour as well. If I was a Palestinian and some Israeli soldiers came along shooting into my house for no real friggin reason I might be aggressive & hostile toward that nation/people/religion too. etc...etc

The US defends Israeli actions too blindly and too much in my opinion. One reason so many other nations despise the US along with Israel.

True, but Colonial times = over... age of exploration? No more.

It has been over for a while. Palestine existed, and was peaceful for a while, due to that space earned, military defeats. (like other countries) fairly acquired territory.... Ok so it's established. This day and age you don't see a country crossing a political border, attacking and then placing a flag and claiming that land... wtf? Then the hegemonious U.S. bullys such a small nation and steals land for whatever their motives were, political, religious, and perhaps to bank $.

    Exactly.
    Wouldn't the region be "established".
What gives the U.S. The authority to go into an established country and declare a new country within it?! WTF? I'm sure there are numerous ulterior motives, but good example mentioning the serbs and all of the other "opressed" groups.

Yo QD, in a nutshell, sure there is relative peace after conflicts until the next regime takes over. Throughout history that has happened. Imagine an African nation, existing for many years, and gets past the age of colonialism. Warfare has changed, the countries have been formed. Now a group of outsiders are introduced into the area with a very different set of beliefs and put into control of the region, by force... AN OCCUPIED REGION.... and of high value (ie, holy land)....

How would you feel if you were in that African State... lol shitty example but thats how it is
