Recently adopted my 3rd child. 2yr old j. Russell terrier. Looks like she’s already had pups and all shots. Animal shelter told me that she spent a lot of time in a small kennel outside b4 she was brought in by the owner. I am trying to muscle her up by walking and stuff. She is very shy but getting better as days go… one condition she has is that her nose is very dry. Well, the upper half is. It’s crusting up in white color(her nose is black) is there anything I can apply to her nose or will she gradually improve as she gets better nourishment? I thought about some Vaseline or something to keep it from crusting up. Any help will be great! thanX in advance

"vaseline or petrolium jelly (the base of chap sticks) its pretty cheap and will not be harmful at all- I used this on my lips in the winter. Its great for chaped lips. Try wetting her nose first, then apply it." ~Christine
