Default Whey Protein vs. Weight gain

Alright, since im a noob at this stuff, could anybody tell me which one is better? What are some of the brands you use and what specific things I should look for? I heard whey protein can make you sick. Also is it true that if you stop taking creatine, your muscles turn into fat.

    wow, you've been misinformed....

What are you goals, first and foremost. Whey protein is a great supplement to a good diet when you're looking to gaim muscle. I don't think I've heard of anyone getting sick from it. I've been using it for years.

It is impossible for your muscle to physically change to fat, period. Creatine is a substance that occurs naturally in your body and is stored in muscles and is the muscles energy source for real short 2-3 seconds bursts of movement. After that your body will burn ATP. By ingesting more creatine into your system you will have more creatine available when you need it.

If you don't drink enough water, you'll get diarrea, feel sick, etc. Creatine has a toxic byproduct, so you need to drink at least a gallon of water a day (recommended) to remove it from your body. This is, at least, the short story of Creatine...there's MUCH more involved, but this is the jist.

The only reason I ever heard whey causing people to get sick is because they are taking in way to much protein and its destorying there kidneys. Also creatine makes you retain water making your muscles look larger. Turning muscle into fat is like me turning iron to gold. Its impossible

Reminds me of the old days when people bought the Cybergenics supplements. People would come in and buy the Total BB Kit. I remember getting a $1.25 sales commission for every Cybergenics item I sold. Remember the Quick Trim kit and the before/after pics?

Anyhoo, if you're a noob as you claim, I wouldn't worry about supplements at this point. Develop a split that works for you and get the diet in order. Spend some time in the racks.

If you want to use Creatine use German Creatine. www.fitnesslabs.com you can get 1000 grams for 25$. Creatine mono in us is not quite up to par in comparison to german creatine while our 100% creatine (US) is actually 85.8% creatine and 14.2%water molecule: German creatine actually contains 88.8%Creatine and 11.2%water molecule

you dont have to take a gallon of water with creatine now days..creatine ester is new and does not require that much water...no water retention, no bloating, no cramps, no diareahea...but do take a minimum of 8 cups of water a day...but hey thats how much an average joe suppose to drink anyways...

some of the best stuff is actually in pill form...Ive been using anavol for a while and in a month i jumped up 50 pounds on bench, i used it in conjunction with muscle milk and that helped out a lot. Im gonna start using Gakic pretty soon just to see how good it really is, they say 45 minutes after you take it you will have a 10.5% increase in strength.

when i first satrted using creatine I took it in pill form but I suck at taking pills. So when I was on the loading days and I had to take all those pills sometimes I would get 1 pill stuck in my throat and I could cough like crazy and spit it back up and swallow it again.

you have to be careful with the supplements, weve had 3 people die in our gym here in iraq in the last 4 months from misusing supplements.
