    Default Help!Video Card Install!?

Ok, I have a new video card, graphics card, whatever I installed a few weeks back, and my computer messed up. I formatted everything and want to install it again. It says to disable other drivers, I tried. When i try and install new drivers for the card it says no drivers can be found. It is a GeForce card. Any help appreciated. I can see clear, but when I scroll down on pages, it pauses between movements.

That pausing means the drivers arent their for your card. I have fixed that on several computers and all it takes is installing the drivers. Go to add/remove programs, remove anything GeForce, then use the CD that came with the card or just download the drivers and restart. After that you should be good.

Under add remove programs, only video thing is my stock card, which is an onboard intel video card. if i remove it, i restart, and it re installs on its own.

    Control panel>System>Hardware tab>Device Manger button

In this list you should be able to find a exspanable menu for display devices...you will need to disable the onboard video...do not un-install right click and choose disable...

    That should work...

Also you will need to go to the Nivida website and download the new drivers for the card...I use ATI stuff so I dont remember what their site looks like. But it should be easy with the instructions from the website.

guru3d.com, get modified drivers. 100x better than the developer drivers.
