    is this good or bad for bellsouth (im on my laptop and wireless...the router is one of those cool white netgear ones without antennas but have like 7-10 built in antennas that light up)

    its the bandwidth test on google (keyword: speed test and the first link) I dunno thats what it had so I copied. lol

    what service are you signed up for? 2mbit isn't too bad, i'm in a 3mbit line at home through bellsouth. the basic speed for bellsouth dsl is 1.5mbit isn't it?

    To be honest with you I have no idea what service it is...I know its not the cheap cheap one cuz well they didn't have that in my area...we pay like $50 a month if that gives you an idea of what service lol.

    that's the 3mbit service i believe, seems a bit low, but u never get exactly 3mbit. must have been a peak time

    Not too bad, especially since I've got a 256 Kbps connection. How come my download speed is only about 1/10 of my peak theoretical speed?
