    Default HD Problem!

Ok, so I took my hard drive out, and when I put it back in, the computer wont boot. It goes to the Windows XP loading screen, and then a blue screen with an error message. I tried changing settings in DOS mode or w/e, I cannot even start it in safe mode. Any ideas where to lead me? Is my HD burnt?

Have you tried reformating the drive? Does it make any clicking sounds? Does the BIOS say it is there?

basically it's a different way to orgnize the sectors and stuff. lba starts at 0and numbers each sector up from there. i've found that changing the format to lba fixes some hdd problems.
