You should make it known in class though that just because you believe in a religion, that does not mean that ALL of your beliefs follow that religion. There are different interpretations of ALL religions.

Whether that girl likes it or not, atheism is a religion, and has just as much right to religious freedom as Christianity. And not everyone has the same interpretation of it.
