    Default Free USB drive from microsoft

    Copied and pasted from another site that I visit. I ordered mine it says 6-8 weeks for delivery.


    I don't know if you've seen this--- the offer's gotten a lot of publicity on various sites (and thanks to those readers who gave a "heads up" on it)--- but Microsoft is giving away free USB drives, at least as of the time of this writing.

    Click here: http://www.microsoft.com//windowsxp/...p/default.mspx and then click on the "Valuable Information" panel on the right side. That takes you to a propaganda page; read the text, follow the instructions, and you then are taken to an extremely simple mini-quiz about what you just read. Don't worry--- not only is the stuff very simple, but (1) we've covered it before in this newsletter; and (2) all but one of the answers is already filled in for you with the correct replies! (And the non-filled in answer is "two.") When you give the correct answers and enter your shipping address, MS promises to send you a USB flash drive filled with various information--- well, propaganda. You can read it or (of course) delete it and just use the empty drive.

    Yeah comes with some kind of missing link information. I just hope you can delete it off to use the drive.

    my guess is it's probably a 32 or 64mb stick... something small with useless info on it..

    i'm gonna order another one and have it sent to my dorm instead of my home lol
