    Default Jobs for Car Lovers?

Is there such a thing in this town? Im a General Motors ASEP student currently working in a dealership. About to graduate in June and should have all my ASE's completed by then. Is there a shop in town interested in hiring a guy with good automotive repair knowledge and a love/lust for the import tuner world? I love the scene and I have a deep love for everything automotive but i can't seem to find a place that woud let me get into modifing and installing. I love motorsports too. I would love to work for a place that does custom installs and tuning or maybe a a place like Panoz that builds all out race cars.

I have the desire, just can't seem to find my way. I know someone here knows people i dont and can give me some general advice/direction.

    Thanks
    Tim

No offense to you but you sound kind of young and ASE's really mean squat without the hands on expierence to back it up. Modding, what have you ever modded or built? There are many aspects to the automotive scene and your best bet is to work for a dealership for a while and get some expierence and then try to progress. Working fo Panoz will not happen right off the bat unless you know someone. They are going to be looking for expierence in a certain field and most of them are engineering type fields of some sort, but not all. Just take your time and you can work into it but you can't rush it.
