Laptop Internet question...

I need to know what I need to do to get my laptop on the World Wide Web. It is an IBM Thinkpad 600. I beleive it has a PII. I installed XP Home on it. I do know it has a 56K modem. Please let me know what I need to do. Thanks. Later, QD.

if the modem works, you just plug it into a phone line and put in your dial-up information (ie, usernames and passwords from Bellsouth or whichever carrier you're using). IM me if you need help.
