    Default diff between mozilla firefox and IE

    what are the differences? Id like to get rid of IE off my laptop but I need to know the differences first/.

    mozilla firefox works much better and no more pop up crap...

    IE has more overhead then mozilla... but i don't get all of these people who say they have popup problems... if your running windows update/patches are a must - then you won't have to worry about popups

    firefox is faster. plus its got all those cool extensions

    Most importantly, Firefox has about .00005% of the security vulnerabilities that IE has.

    Add that to Firefox's tabbed browsing capabilities, and I can't imagine why anyone would ever use Microsoft's POS.

    Pretty much.

    It loads faster, is safer, and tabbed windows are much more convenient than IE.

    Firefox is just simply better all around. and IE is embedded within windows so you can not get rid of it off of your laptop. Just delete the IE icon and use Firefox.
    Tabbed browsing is the best. and the themes are a great addition.
