My 21st: Vegas?

Alright guys, I need opinions.

I turn 21 in November, November 13th. I'm going balls to the wall in as many places as possible in downtown atl during my off time from school until then. But that's irrelevant.

I want to have my 21st birthday weekend in Vegas. In my opinion, there is no other way to do it.

Here is my dilemma.

I turn 21 on a Saturday. We are still in class during those mid weeks in November. When I planned this in my head, I thought the 13th was going to be on a Friday, so I was originally going to fly out on that Friday morning with a group of buds, then just go balls out all weekend from Friday when I actually turn 21, to Sunday or Monday when I'm walking through the airport.

However...the 13th is on a Saturday. Would it be pointless to spend one night in Vegas...right? I've never been, but I've heard tons of things. I just want an absolutely unforgettable experience, turning 21.

Money isn't a factor. Again, I just want to have the most unforgettable weekend of my life that I hopefully won't remember.


I just realized that on midnight on Friday I'll be 21, so it kind of makes the entire post irrelevant, but still. Opinions/suggestions? I've never been, and I'm sure some of you have.

Just went a couple weeks ago. Shit is EXPENSIVE for real. The good clubs charge $50 at the door plus $12+ for liquor. If you got money burnin a hole in your pocket then go for it. I had a blast but I doubt I'll go back anytime soon.

I turn 21 in June too. I wanted to go, but probably in July. But my gf wants to go and she doesn't turn 21 til January of 2011.

You only turn 21 once. Tell you professors you have something you have to do, and just go. You can make up a few days, you can't make up your 21st.

woo-whoo! i'm turning 21 in may! 2010 is the shit year! going to Vegas for a friends bachelorette party end of july/august..its gonna be stupid crazy! have fun, just skip a day of school; try asking for assignments ahead of time.

I don't see the point in you going unless you have a lot of money to spend. I also don't see the big deal of having to be there when you are 21. You do have the rest of your life to go....
