i have seen some of the top instructors say to buy factory guns, cause time and time again they see the home brew variety fail during courses.

What are peoples experiences. I dont doubt home brew can be just as reliable if not more reliable than a factory gun, but what skill level is required to achieve this?

Anyones home brew really been run hard against factory guns for comparison?
