Wish I would have seen this thread earlier, oh well.

Beale Street is pretty fun. It will be PACKED tonight. There is also a rooftop party on the Peabody, again, PACKED. If you get a chance, go to the Rendezvous and eat the best ribs of your life, but theres a good chance you will be waiting 2 hours if you don't know anybody there or don't have a reservation.

The really touristy areas downton are very safe because there is a cop every 20 feet, but if you get too far off the beaten path, it can get very dangerous very quickly. There are some fun places in Memphis, just you usually have to drive 20 minutes.
