    Default 2nd of the season

I hit a big doe from around 150 yards with a .270 and a .130 grain core-lokt. I'll have pic up soon. I'm very proud of that shot.

Pic up, Bullet hit right where the cross hairs were at. I had missed my previous 2 shots, and that morning had gone to the range and made a few tweaks. Range time paid off immediatly

Looks like a good shot. What .270 were you using, I loved our old rem. .270 bolt

Savage .270. Fairly cheap, but I have yet to have a miss that I could blame the gun on.

was there a smaller deer with her? by looking at her nipples it seems like she had a baby. Not saying it was still a fawn or anything but was there any other younger deer hanging around her?
