Check out Mans best Friend, both my German shepherds have had extensive training with them. Though it is expensive ( I have close to $6,000 combined in my dogs) the end result is well worth it. My two are on leash, off leash, distance, on leash protection, off leash protection, On leash AOC ( Attack on command) and we are starting the offensive deployment AOC where the dog is off leash and actually sent after the threat. I have no qualms taking my dogs anywhere and I know they will be on their best behavior.

The "training" petsmart uses it crappy at best, reward only based training does not work with most dogs. Have you ever watched the people there trying to get their dogs to actually do what it is they are asking it to do?
