I went there last year it was fun.
Theres a lot to do in Puerto Rico: visit the Forts, kayaking in the bioluminescent bay, snorkling, hiking in the rain forest - some cheap, some not. Check the hotel for brochures. If anything just walking around the downtown area is fun and free.

The bioluminescent bay has got to be the number 1 thing to do, http://www.biobay.com/

i went there in 07, did the caves, the big telescope thats in james bond and the bio bay, had a great time. the nightlife and restaurant scene in san jaun is great.

remember its not always about the beaches!
