I could see a World War being more noticeable than the war on terror. though the death toll would mostly be on the other side, we have so much technology and really steer away from endangering our soldiers lives now, an 8 year long war has produced what? 5000+ casualties? that's a walk in the park. world war 2 had 20-30-40k people die in a single day.

nuclear war would be a disaster, we do have nuclear countermeasures (ARROW 2 missile, PATRIOT, etc...) but should one get through, that would open the door for the U.S. to use them.

there is a term called "Nash Equilibrium" which basically states,one country nukes another so the other launches many nukes back, and so forth till neither side wins and both sides lose.

look man I'll put it out there for you: how effin large do you think a STONE calendar can be? it has to stop some place and they stopped it at the end of the ERA or AGE, not end of the world. December of 2012 (either the 12th or 20th day, i forget) marks the end of the AGE of Pieces and the beginning of the AGE of Aquarius.
