    Default Anyone Been to Slopes

Has anyone eaten at Slope's BBQ? I just noticed there is one right down the street from my house on Barrett.

I went to them years ago a couple of times. They are not the best, but were pretty good.

They are not that good. They are okay but it is nothing that will blow your skirt up. Try The Big Shanty Smokehouse, its by historic Kennesaw on Cherokee street, not far from you at all. It is really good. The ribs are the shiznit.

If you like thai food the Bangkok cabin is in that area also and it is the best.

Thanks, I hate to waste money on crappy food. It looks like I will be skipping the place unless I just have to have it. I'm a pretty good cook, but I don't have the tools or the time to make real BBQ.

EDIT: I just checked the site for the Big Shanty spot and they have some good prices too. A whole slab for $16 is not bad at all. Most of the places I was recommended charge like $20 for a slab. I'm definitely going to check it out on Friday.

I was thinking it may have been a little better. I work right across the street from Williamson Bros. so if I want decent I'll got there. Although the fried pickles they have are crazy good and I don't even like regular pickles.

Williamson bros. is usually my default bbq place, they have the best sauce, but I thought big shanty was pretty good.

Slopes IS good. I guess I am not a BBQ aficionado, but I like it just fine.
