    Default IA's official Watch thread

I've recently have became very fond of watches and the movements inside of them. Some of that stuff is unbelievable. My daily is just a Seiko with a slide rule on the bezel. (Pics later) but I'm looking into some of Steinhart's for later in the year. Maybe something like this http://www.steinhartwatches.de/index...&Sel_ID=18#159

There is a thread somewhere about this.. Danny started it.

yes, Im a watch fan, got a few myself..

    But, Mostly a MOVADO fan.

I wear a Cheap Guess, which has actually lasted more then I thought..Or a Older Gold Movado that I bought back in 99..

I also Got a MARC ECKO I hardly wear it.. but when I go to the club and want to bling bling.. lol- I rock..

And then, I have another MOVADO - I wear here and there.. Is my favorite.

I like watches.. Dont have to be expensive.. I think MOVADO is as far as I would make it though..

I got a few others.. but those are the ones I rocked the most.
Im thinking about buying another Movado.. The one I bought in 99 , I only had to change the battery once.. in 10 years.. pretty impressive.

Danny has some pretty pimp shit .. Pablo as well.

    I have a hamilton x-wind.

    http://www.hamiltonwatch.com/webapp/...=ka&y=14&p=139

Its a pretty big watch. 44mm wide and forgot how tall. Small watches are for pussy's. My favorite watches are Breitling's. Super Avenger and the chronomat evolution are couple of my favorites. Maybe in the future when I make some good money I'll have a nice collection.

Yes they are. I love them. I was going to get one but they are a little too pricey for me right now. Plus I tend to wear my watch all the time and I get scratches here and there so I wouldn't want to do that to a breitling.

I actually have been buying watches for several years now. I have 28 as of now.

I have tons of different brands but my favorites are by Kenneth Cole. I have Movado, Kenneth Cole, Gucci, Fossil, Seiko, and Burberry.

Awesome stuff guys. I really like Mavodo's but they're just a touch too plain for me. Kinda what I like about them too though. Lol.
I love some Hamilton's too, especially the X wind.
I'm looking to move away from quartz though.

I have sold my bell & ross br-01.

I am looking to by the black steel breitling or a steelfish super ocean. also I am looking at graham chronofighter divers. They are by far my favorite as of right now.

Exactly, if I could read the thing, I'd be down for one. I bet that shit shines in the club though.
Man, I've been looking at that Carrera for months now. I love that thing. I want to say you can get it a little cheaper off Amazon but the warranty is through them, not Tag though. Also, look into the Omega Speedmaster Pro. Same price roughly but it looks great too.

I have a Swatch for every day, its nice when you can use one for casual or business. Sucks they don't have a single store in Georgia though.

I'll buy something nicer when I start making more $$$...

i also had about 20 of these gay bastards in 6-7th grade

lulz. now my wrists are just too small to wear a watch. they fucking dwarf my whole arm.

I recently got a TagHeuer Formula 1 (as a present from my mom), so far the best watch I have owned, especially since I've mainly had Fossil's and my Tourneu (Sp?).

One of my friends got me interested in Hublot watches, but of course they are way out of my price range.

i think i may be the only one in this thread that is not a fan of tag's. Im not a fan of small watches. I need a watch with some weight to it.

I would rather get a nice raymond & weil, oris, ball engineering, baume mercier, breitling or bell & ross for around the 1k-3.5k range

LOL by nice do you mean LOOK nice? or have superb movement and time keeping ability? guess you just buy watches purely based on looks and not the quality of the mechanics.
