Mine is a Savage .270 and I shoot 150 grain bullets. 2 deer shot at, one abt 60 yards, one about 100. Both heart shot, dropped where they stood

Are you asking us what we have? Or if those shots are good? Or are you just giving us an update?![]()
"The 1911 is a collection of subsystems that must work together. Each part must be prepared and fit properly not only in and of itself, but also with regard to the other parts with which it must operate for the gun to function and appear as desired."
Haha, What you use, and your opinion of it.

I use a remington 7400 in .243win. but I gave up hunting after 1 season, waste of time.
Why a waste of time? I find it relaxing and challenging

Remington 700 BDL
.30-06
Leupold VariX-II 3-9x40mm
Hand loaded 150gr Nosler Partitions
This rifle has slain many deer.
Marlin 35 - Love it... no complaints, but I sold it.
Yugo M48 - Haven't hunted with it yet, but I'm in the process of installing a Russian surplus SKS/SVD side mount scope. It's already surprisingly accurate with iron sights at 75 yards... I'm interested to see how it does with the scope.
I used to have a lever 30-30. It was fun to shoot and good stopping power, but I never had a scope on it and I like the distance of the .270
