my thoughts exactly. I too am not a huge fan of rails. But this gun is a purpose built gun thats going to get run hard and used alot so it needs a rail (as it will also be my HD gun). Right now i just have a surefire 6p defender that is always parked next to my gun, but i can easily see knocking that outa reach when SHTF. I would prefer to have a weapon light and a handheld. I am leaning towards the dawson rail, due to its size. I am sure i could fit and a dehorn it nicly to fit the overall feel and look of the gun. The novak is just huge.

Also, while on topic of surefire... have you got an account with them yet? I need to order a new carry light, my 6P defender is a little big for everyday carry.
