    How did nothing become everything?

Because we know for a fact that the only thing that could have existed before the universe was its absence or Nothing. and that nothing somehow became everything that is today!
If nothing was the only thing then it was also everything, opposites within each other like yin and yang. My theory is that these facts branched into more facts which eventually became self aware and SOMEHOW created the universe.

Write it on Nothingness. Heidegger wrote that the only way for man to counter nihilism is to find ways to encounter nothingness. This is done by being a being-toward-death or being aware of your death. Another way is by feeling angst which is the most definitive way to encounter nothingness. A resolute person would be one who projects themself into situations where angst is possible or probable. In doing this we encounter nothingness and live an authentic life. This is just a summary of some of Heidegger's ideas. His writing style is really dense but flows awesomly. Check it out if you haven't written it yet.
