    Default finding a host

    I'm going to be doing a web site for this guy because he didn;t like the guy he hired before to do his page. Only thing is he doesn't know who is hosting his site, he just paid the previous for the design and to find a host. He's not talking to this guy anymore so is there some way to do something like a whois to find out who is hosting the site?

    thanks but that's not exactly what was asking. Im trying to find out who is currently hosting this guy's site so he can cancel his subscription with them and get host (don;t know who he wants to go with though). any ideas

    sorry i miss read the post... just go to godaddy.com type in the domain hame when it brings up the name it will have find info click on that, it will give you the whois info
