    so yeah i went to some a few years ago on buford hwy and what not, kinda forgot about 'em etc...

    Good eatin'

    So a few days ago a gas station that I frequent (chevron on herrington/old norcross) started promotin for 99cent tacos inside... I got some today man they're freakin great. Seriously. I just never really saw them in lawrenceville, the furthest north I've seen a 99cent taco joint was Jimmy carter near 85...

    They are simple, and freakin delicious. I just tore up 5 of them for a grand total of 5 bux, and i'm pretty full.

    I tell you where to go though that has probably the best tacos in the city but not $.99

    On Highway 29, close to Lavista Road side of 29, there is a Home Depot. The same complex there is a mercado that has a Taqueria in the back. Best fucking tacos in the city. I read Taqueria Del Sol was #3 from Bon Appetit's best tacos in America, and I can think of at least four places that are better. At the top of the list, this place.

    cuatro tacos con pollo.

    oh nahh i know i've eaten good tacos before... but thats in a different category lol

    this place is actually called "99 cent tacos"... its notorious on buford hwy, etc... A few years back i remember they did a crackdown on those shops bc many of them were operating without business licenses, health inspections, etc... A 99 cent taco is referring to a specific type of taco lol... the 99cent kind... all the 99cent joints have the same recipe/same style, etc... lol

    But speaking of good mexican food, theres a nice place with the most badass name ever.... paco's supertaco... = pretty good... and el pollo loco... and taco cabana down off of peachtree and its 24hrs too... but this thread isn't about mexican food... its about 99 cent tacos only LOL
