LOL - you didn't answer the guy's questions.Originally Posted by nolimitsteveo

IS THE OTHER PIT YOU'RE BREEDING TO X-RAYED AND CERTIFIED FOR DYSPLASIA?
DOES YOUR PIT HAVE PAPERS AND/OR/IS SHOW QUALITY?
ARE YOU BREEDING HIM/HER FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE BREED, OR JUST TO GET PUPPIES TO SELL/GIVE TO FRIENDS?
If the answer to any of any of these is "no" - DO NOT BREED YOUR DOG. If you do it anyways, you are a backyard breeder. Thanks to people like you, breeds have health problems, temperment and behavioral problems, and will lead a horrible, unhappy life in pain. I hope you think twice about what you're doing. Just because you own a dog doesn't give you the right to breed it.
What happens if one of your friends can't take care of the puppies? Or they have health issues and they give them back to you? Now you have a dog and the rest of the pups. Well feeding/cleaning up after/taking 4-5 dogs to the vet is EXPENSIVE. More than likely Woody will be right. We'll see your dog or some of his offspring in the shelters. .

Good choice man. But remember, just because a dog is beautiful doesn't mean it's right to breed it. Professional, responsible dog breeders never come out making money, they do it for love of the breed - BUT they have the certifications and bloodlines to back up their breeding.
If you really want to breed dogs sometime in the future, I'd suggest trying to meet up with someone who breeds dogs and see what it actually entails. It's not cheap or easy.
