    Cool What do you do @ work

    Well like the title says. What do you do at work, any danger involved in your job? Anything cool that not everyone can do? Etc.

    I'm an underground lineman for Pike Electric Inc.

    I operate a big a** drill...



    and install and replace transformers...


    and some substation work...


    Dangers are getting zapped with 7200 volts or more....

    i work for a injection molding company as a program manager, i also control the shipments we send out and do inventory control, i basically sit at desk most of the day and fill in different templates.

    I do network cabling, switching, fiber optics **** at my job. Its Fun most of the time. Always out doing something hardly in the same place.

    im assistant manager for a company that owns a large chain of car washes in the south east. started when i was almost 16 as just somethin to do and just havent left cause the pay is pretty good. but im about to start school for electrician work

    I do quality control and warranty claims for a large international tire company in Suwanee. It was interesting at 1st but now I'm bored out my mind. I just look at damaged tires and test new tires on simulation machines all day long. Then write up reports on what I saw or what data I collected. Looking for something else. I'm not seriously looking but I need to start. This office job just isn't for me.

    Before this I worked at Gwinnett Place Nissan as an ASE Certified Technician. Loved working on cars but hated the politics of a dealership!!

    My job is fun because of the people I work with. But can be very stressful having to wear thick a** rubber sleeves and gloves in the heat, while working on energized lines.

    I watch the AT&T Mobility Network.

    The most danger we have around her is when we have Taco bar in the cafateria and Jeff, our resident butter ball, eats all you can eat.

    I have 3 screens in front of me with Multiple desktops on them and then have 12 projections screens behind my screens thathave multiple elements on them that we watch.

    I fix cable tv. Only danger I run into is climbing power poles. Small risk of electrocution or getting pulled off the pole while hanging drops. That and crazy people and there damn dogs.

    now i'm currently looking for people that need roll cages, sheet metal fab, and anyother fabrication so i will have something to do at work. i used to work for Downing Atlanta laying carbon fiber for the mazdaspeed rx-8 rolex cars. interesting job but ultimately not for me.

    I am a ASE certified tech at a local Chevrolet dealership, and I have to agree with the others about the politics around dealerships....I FAWKING HATE IT, but I can't gripe about the pay.

    im a printing and graphics student so i play with photoshop and illustrator all morning then my friend owns an auto customs shop so i make myself useful there by dealing with customers and stuff
