Well, i am a Quality Control Index tech at Northside Hospital. I just sit behind a computer and review scanned medical records to make sure they can be read by the doctors. Its boring, but its the easy and the pay is decent, and it funds my build ups
Your store must be in the southside. If i am wrong i am sorryQuote:

I'm a stay at home Mom and student... very dangerous jobs. Just quit my job as a Parts Tech. for Land Rover, and I'm working on my B.A. English degree.
Watch importatlanta for new posts
Never imagined I'd use my degree to be in retail.
Store Manager for Fossil.
You know the folks that sell watches, etc. We produced other brands like Starck, Armani, Burberry, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Diesel, and a slew of others.
Really no danger, besides this economy SKEWING MY DAMN profits/etc.
Job is easy, I get to hire some good looking eye candy, bonus' are good too. Overall my job is pretty damn awesome, besides the point its retail. Plus theres room to grow and you can't say that about a lot of retail environments.
here a few pics, really don't have many..
I work in the Customer Service Dept. at Year One. We sell parts for most all makes of Muscle Cars. Definately a fun place to work!
So you work with/for Elwood? My dad used to work there in the 80's as a shop foreman. There was like 10 employee's when he started and over 500 when he left.Quote:

I actually stole a former Autozone employee who's actually doing great at the company I work for.. He was to much talent compare to the rest I've seen @ autozone..
I go to the one by my house all the time... Store Number is 2002 on hwy 20 in lawrenceville..
One time, the dude there sold me a bunch of shit for $20 bucks.. I almost call that shit in.. but decided not to.
And I was there on Saturday, Buying a batterry.. The store manager was there.. White chic.. 4 out of 10 customer service..But She was nice looking .. 1st nice looking female i see working there..
But while she was walking to find my battery in the back since it wasnt on the rack, Another female employee was asking her what she wanted her to do.. the manager said.. SELL stuff.. The ugly dyke looking employee.. Looks at me and says.. "I like to sell stuff... especially Weed.." I was kinda of offended by this because Im no fucking pot head.. But you know what.. I may never return to that place...
She was a like 300lbs female, wearing pants below her ass.. I mean, she is straight nasty.. and stunk as well.. I think she's a dyke.
The reason I say this, is because Ive been retail for 13 years now.. And customer service is one thing I understand.. and explain on a daily basis..
I hate bad customer service.. and understand when you have un-professional employees working for you.
I work for Kellogg Brown and Root, I work as a civilian contractor over seas and my responsibilty is to control every convoy that comes in and out of baghdad. I run our night shift operation.
I work for Honda and I make changes and adjustments to all the machinery that makes the blocks for the Civic Si motor, Element/CR-V motor, Acura TSX motor, Acura RDX turbo motor. I work in the aluminum machining department where the block gets milled and drilled and inspected.
Dangers:
-Crazy robotic arms that take over the world and have the strength to rip you apart, but they are caged in and have too many safety cut-off switches
-Electrical panels which I am not allowed in because my uniform is not a fireproof C-2.
-Molten metal in the casting dept. (I never go there)
...and the biggest danger of them all!
-The auto industry collapsing on itself and losing the job :P
I get to hear all the inside information of Honda and how we stack up etc etc. Our new technologies and how much they cost; OMG!
...and I roll around in Vtak sauce :ninja:
GIS Tech.
Our company focuses on electrical distributions, gps collecting and network building. We have guys in the feild on atv's who take a point at every pole in the Co-op's network and mark the poles class, height, age, and last treatment. Then a mapper comes by on another atv later to put in the assemblies, conductors, and anything else the pole carries, joint use etc. The points are sent in as a .ssf file and here is where I come in. I do differential corrections on the gps points. The combine the points with the attributes collected by the mapper. Put in the conductors and then start editing for mistakes or loops. Then we might do something like line the new network up with and ariel background. fun.
really? damn. ur doing fucking good man...Quote:
