Listening to music, learning music, singing, and playing guitar! I've been playin for a few years nothing is more relaxing! who else plays and instrument???

i myself have been playing percussion for 10 years...piano, drum set, hand drums, marimba are my specialties but i consider myself a very well rounded musician

i good bit of other people play too, i think there was a thread somewhere in the music forum about it...a few people wanting to start bands and such

what style to you play killer??

well... plenty.... i only own an acoustic as of now... so nothing hard... but my style is some what dashboard/john mayer...
i love the sound of acoustic stuff.... but i've played in church, and i used to play electric... no lead only rythm.... (i suck

)

I've playe the drums for about 12 years now. Was in a band for 5 years then went of to college and couldnt do it anymore. I have more fun just playing whatever I want. Kinda over the band thing.

Ive been playin the drums for right around 7 years now, my first set was a 5 piece CB drum set....

Damn I don't feel so special anymore...I too play the drums. I used to be in a few bands but now I just kinda play for myself or whenever a friend just wants a jam session. Also sing and learning guitar.

lately i've been really yearning to play the guitar. i love how the acoustic sounds. imma end up buying a guitar. i'm a lefty(though not born a lefty), IYO everyone, would it be good to buy a lefty guitar or just work it with the regular right handed guitar??

and who would be willing to give lessons...or at least yell at me if i screw up the notes ??

well right handed guitars are easier to find, and my guess could be taught easier... just my opinion... i have a friend that's a lefty and it's kinda hard how to show her stuff...

I've been playing guitar for 8 years, I sing a little as well. Nothing more relaxing than sitting in bed with a beer and an acoustic guitar.

I've got a Martin Dreadnought Acoustic and a Godin LG w/ Seymour Duncan Dimebag Derryl pick ups out back.

I've "tried" to play guitar on and off since I was like 14... but my hands just have problems holding the chords right.. Small chubby hands = no good for guitar lol.

...oh yeah, forgot the details on mine...premier xpk imported from somewhere in europe (via some band, no one good though, lol), it's a 99 limited edition, axis double bass pedal, all zildjian a-custom cymbals except the bottom of the hi-hat is a k-custom (liked that sound better)...i'd put up nice clean manufactures pictures but i can't find any

someone come rock the walls down with me, granny is in new york for the next 3 weeks so i've got the house down there to myself!!!!!!!

damn, that wood is sexy...i'm sure you've been to www.mikeportnoy.com and seen all of his sets, you can play them on there too...he's awesome, always been a big dream theater/liquid tension fan...i've got some dream theater concert DVD's if you want to borrow them paul...incredible shit.
