Default Need bogus ticket help please

Well I was coming back from perry sat night and was following the GPS on the back roads instead of going interstate and it got me goin thru loganville. Well I never saw a 35 mph sign and was following two other cars going the same speed and I was actually slowing down looking for a turn. He got me for 50 in a 35 but I think he was profiling me a bit and just got me because I was at the end of the line of traffic. also he wrote on the ticket that it was daylight when it was 9 at night. let me know any ideas to get out of it. what If the officer dosent show to the court date? lmk any help is appreciated and no im not some dumb punk that speeds around all over I just got caught thinking it 45 not 35.

Dude, good luck. Loganville sucks balls. I lived there for about 8 years. I've been pulled over for the dumbest crap in that town.

According to your profile birthdate, and it seems that you're over 21. I would just show up and pay the fine. Trying to fight the ticket is only going to result in the judge making an example of you so nobody else steps up. That's just the way loganville is.

Case in point, I got a ticket in loganville for 15 over when I was 19. I received a full year of probation, i was ordered to attend two risk reduction classes, and I had to pay over 600 in fines. I had no previous offenses whatsoever. My friend got up to fight his ticket on the same court date, was very polite about everything, and received the same thing I did plus 40 hours community service. His ticket was for turning left through a red light.

I also had a friend who fought a ticket for 25 over when he was 21 and was actually thrown in jail for the weekend. He also had no previous record. I'm not making this **** up. He sued the county and I believe they settled like a year later.

I'm not trying to scare you, I'm just saying that you're lucky that you're over 21, because you can just walk in and pay the fine. Loganville is not the place to fight a ticket. Judge Brownlow will do anything he can to make sure you never want to go through their legal system again...rather than give you a fair shot at defending yourself. It sucks but it's the way it is. I also have ten bucks that says the officer doesn't show up. They don't care. My advice is stay out of the freakin town next time. Drive around it, whatever you can do. Not that you could have known that to begin with.

But good luck man, I'm sorry to hear it.

Anybody know about them tacking on an extra 100 buck fine for getting a second ticket for speeding in a 3 year period?

the cop helped you by putting daylight on the ticket. It looks worse when your doing 15 over at night than it does during the day.

How is getting pulled over for 15 over a bogus ticket? Its your fault you were driving 15 over, not the cops. If you didnt see the sign, then you made the mistake, not the cop. Pay your ticket and leave it at that. You were at fault, now man up and pay the price.

I dont know anything about a jump in price for a 2nd ticket in 3 years, but when I first got to GA I got 3 in a year and had no increase in fine.

go back and see if there is a sign, theres a chance that it may be missing if it is take pics and also get a lawyer if it matters that much to you.

    Illegal solution:
    1. Steal sign
    2. Take a picture showing it isn't there. Edit the EXIF data for the picture so that it appears it was taken the same day of your ticket.
    3. ??????????
