Default Anyone have a Pitbull as a "House pet"?

I'm just curious to how many other people on this site actually
keep their beloved pitbull/pitbull's inside their home instead of chained up in the backyard.or whatever else people do with their dogs.

I<3my red nose and we could never chain her up or leave her outside
all night for what ever reasons.
just like our chihuaha she has this entire house to live in.
we have a very large back yard only fence we have is a picket fence but she knows not to leave.however we allow her to run around with our neighbors dog
it is a full grown boxer they play all the time but she knows not to wonder off and etc ..

but im just confused about when i drive around or see on tv people actually tying their dogs up outside or chaining them up.not keepthin clean or take them to the vet when needed.
even labs, bulldogs all the little tiny dogs people neglect them all the time.
i could not see myself making my dog sleep outside and not giving her a bath keeping her toe nails trimmed.

just post up if you keep your pitbull inside .. lets see some pic of the ebautiful dog

    thanks take it easy.

Several people in my appt complex have pits.. And they are inside most of the day. I was going to get one, but IMO, they need more space than just my appt.

yeah... mine comes to work with me and sits in my cubicle all day... (cept on occasion i'll leave him outside at the house....)

he also sleeps in my room with me.... most nights unless it's nice and warm out...

    he's an inside/outside dog... i guess you'd say...

My male is about 75-80lbs, Hope your pup keeps the blue eyes...I love a white pit with blue eyes....maybe cause I have one...lol

If you wanna crop your dogs ears like mine, it's called a show cut, usually the most expensive, but most show terriors use the same cut. IMO the best cut.

The white one is a male game breed pit, jeepboy/bolio bloodline, breed for hunting, I was told I was crazy to make him an inside dog...but he adapted well after about 2 years of dealing with his crap and chewing everything he could.

The female is my g/f dog, blood line is unknown, cause she didn't feel like spending $2k on a dog....lol She also has a show crop, just hoping her head fills out to pull the ears back...she is only 5 months old.

I have a 1 1/2yr old Razor's Edge Blue pit that's 68lbs and he stays in my house 24/7 unless I'm walking him. I walk him twice a day and he's out w/ me on the weekends unless I'm on my bike. He loves being an inside dog. I'll have him outside and he'll cry and bark like crazy b/c he wants to be back inside. He's very laid back and lazy. He didn't really chew up too many things as a puppy. He learned pretty fast what he could and couldn't touch. My last pit on the other hand wasn't happy if he was out or in. I don't know what the hell was wrong w/ him.

My friend has a pitbull that can open doors. Whenever I stay over there the first thing that wakes me up in the morning is that dog trying to snuggle with me. He is gay.

View the world through a dogs eyes, if you can't screw it or eat it, pi$$ on it and walk away.
