    Default Im official now! (NDT)

    Well today I passed my level II certification tests for HMSLD and VT ( Helium Mass Spectrometer leak detection and Visual test weld inspection) and tomorrow I will take my PT (Liquid penetrant testing) certification test. Then its time to up the experience hours and head for the big times... Level III. Just thought I'd share.

    Now if anybody posts up anything they've fabbed up I can tell them that their welds suck, and I got the documentation that says I can say that.LOL j/k

    I know it sounds kinda boring, but I actually need those certifications for more than just regular weld inspection. I am doing ultra high purity and hazardous gas process piping validation and soon will be overseeing and inspecting welding procedures on nuclear sites when they seal the casks that hold the nuclear fuel rods that are removed from the fuel pools.
