As I stated in my last thread in the lifestyle section, I have recently built a new bar. A few people asked to see pics, so here they are. This used to be a small closet, but I decided to build a bar out of it. I did all the work myself, including cutting the wall out, putting in new drywall, laying tile, building and staining the cabinets, putting in the counter tops, rewiring the room, painting, and a few other things. The house is about 100 years old, so you can imagine all the **** i ran into and had to rebuild. The whole project (not counting the fridge - see pic and description of fridge below) cost me about $800. I am still waiting on the front bar top, which sits on the front of the bar in the window. Other than that, the project is pretty much done. In the future I plan to put a small sink in as well. I think it turned out pretty good. What do you guys think?
The Fridge is a U-Line. That was the most expensive part of the project, at $1200. It's worth it though. Its the smallest REAL refridgerator and freezer. I keep the fridge at 36 degrees, and the freezer close to zero (its full of ice cubes).
