Hmm..I can't really figure it out. When I try to get a list of maps..its only shows me maps with like 100+ Latency..and then when I try to connect...it just says "connecting to server" Sometimes I can only find servers with 1000+ latency...**** is gay...call me up i will help u get going i have had crazy problems with mine but it runs great now

do you have cable modem? if you do, your line might have "static" or "line interference" or something like that. i had 1.5 dsl for a while and it ran awesome. usually the lowest latency in the server, now that i switched to cable, its kinda crazy. if you're using the cable provider's cable modem/router, then thats probably whats making you ping so high. thats what i use and i can't find a game that will ping anything under than 1999. if you just use a cable provided cable modem, and use your own router, that should straighten things out.
when i had the cable company modem and my own router, i would ping decent, but it would fluctuate and freeze in the middle of the game. i think this is because of loss packets. this is a cable line problem in which you have to call the cable company and let them know so they can come out and fix it.

ill take this as proof you've never played 1.6 and if you did you realized it takes skill and went to play source because al lyou have to do is shoot a foot to get a headshot, source is so trash that CPL won't even use it.. it's failed at every tournament they've tried to make it the main game.. and will keep failing.. it's a horrible game. 1.6 will be the main game at the next CPL once again because source had about 4 teams show up where 1.6 brings in over a hundred :]
CPL is just now bringing 1.6 back for the winter tournament. They have been using Source for a while and are using both Source and 1.6 for the tourney.

they used source ONCE last cpl and it failed, they HAVE To use source because STEAM is making them use it cuz they spent so much time on a ****ty game no one wants to play, so they're forcing it, plus it's more graphically intense so it brings more spnosors. Promod needs to work or CS is going to die.

Funny thing is, a good 1.6 player will destroy a good CSS player because 1.6 requires skill. CSS does not :] have fun with that terrible game i refuse ti play it, it makes me wanna hurl. the models look like hunch backs, the hands that hold the guns take up half your screen and you can't see where bullets land. not to mention it doesnt register properly.
in fact, im challenging you all to 1.6 aimmap, 4v1 5v1? and then we'll do it in source, i bet i win both.

i never play source, and it doesnt take skill to be good, you just shoot at nothing and you'll hit a head.

CSS is bad I'm current im in 1.6 and just for ****s and giggles a i tried for current cal p CSS team and they wanted me..i told them no ty gg
