Agreed, hanging a noose was racist. BUT, there is not a low on the books that says you cannot do it. So nobody broke the law when they did that. BUT when the 6 blacks beat up the white guy, well...there IS a law on the books against that. So it's no longer about race, it's about law. And the law says they did wrong. They are in the wrong, not the noose hangers in the eyes of the law.
Was the noose right, no way. But it wasn't a law breaker. So all the rallyer's are basically rallying behind criminals. And they are doing it because they are black. So THATS RACIST. You guys are condoning criminal activity because of a skin color. I don't know wnats more racist than that.

The punishement is battery. It was reduced from attempted murder. How much lighter can you get than battery? Attempted pushing?

Nooses are hung the next day by white kids.

The law and justice system in america is all fucked up. If it weren't fucked up then we would have equality and justification in all purposes no matter what the case is. But the law system in america has and always will be fucked up because of color boundries.....
I will give you some reasons just why the justice system is fucked up....
a) There are racist cops
b) there are racist judges
c) there are racist jurors
d) there has never been another color besides white for presidency in america.
e) This country is played by majority and minority votes and is viewd on that whites being the majority and blacks,hispanics,and others all in the minority section

I fully agree with Glides on the subject. It's about what is and what isn't against the law. The white kids were offensive, sure, but they didn't break the law. The black kids who committed the assault did break the law.
I disagree with this totally. In the context, if the black kids had pursued this through the proper channels, in all reality, the white kid would have probably had terroristic threats charges brought against him. Something I'm not particularly proud to admit is that in the early-mid '90s my brother was fairly stong in the local neo-nazi skinhead movement, he appeared on Montel Williams a few times on the 'racist' shows, and then later on a 'converted racists' episode. Anyways, back OT, one night, he and some buddies were riding around harassing people, during this he shot a black woman a bird, and yelled at her calling her a ni**er, she called in the tag number and he ended up doing 2 years in state prison. The point is: in all honesty, I feel both parties are at fault. The white kids for being racist morons, and the black kids, even though the punishment didn't fit the crime, they could have gone about it the proper way and avoided the situation altogether.
